Rome is celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Futurism Manifesto with a series of events called Futuroma; so if you are an art buff you can’t afford to miss this unique exhibition devoted to Futurism (Futirismo.
Avanguardia–Avanguardie) which is taking place at the Scuderie del Quirinale in Rome.
The exhibition was first held at the Centre Georges Pompidou in Paris and after Rome it will move to London (Tate Modern Museum).
Here in Rome the curators, though inspired by the French who tried to recreate the same artistic atmosphere people breathed back in 1912 when the first futurist exhibition took place at the Bernheim-Jeune Gallery in Paris, want to underpin the intrinsic vivacity of the futurism movement and focus on the debate it created at the turn of the last century.
