New Year’s Eve in Italy can provide for many wonderful and unique experiences from mountain refuge dinners and skiing, to parties in Sicily and banquets in Sardegna.
Going south, in Puglia, we find the possibility of spending New Year in a fort that was a manor farm.
It almost looks like you could stay in the Trulli for New Year with the architecture here at the Masseria Valle d’Itria.
Web site Puglia et Mores is offering packages to stay here that range from 150 to 265 euros a head for a double, with 90 euros extra for the Italian New Year’s dinner.
The first package includes two nights and three days’ accomodation with dinner on December 30, including an aperitif with chestnuts and Puglia’s famous primitivo wine.
The second package at 200 euros, includes three nights and two dinners, while the third option includes a health spa package with herbal treatments and massages.
With an extra 15 euros you get a top-end room with access to the heated pool.
For a New Year in Italy, this is very tempting.
