Terni, home of Saint Valentine, celebrates its Patron saint

For the inhabitants of Terni, a lovely town in the Umbria region, Valentine’s Day is a very special occasion; in fact Saint Valentine is the Patron Saint of the town and in order to celebrate the saint, every year Terni organises a series of amazing celebrations; from art exhibitions to religious meetings.

This year the two-month-long programme includes a new play called Valentinamore and which will be staged in the church of Saint Peter from 13 to 14 February.

During the celebrations placards with famous mottos will be hung all around the famous and romantic Marmore Falls.
