Next Sunday (September 26) the baths of Trajan, a massive bathing and leisure complex in Rome, will celebrate its 1900th birthday.
For the occasion, after eleven years, the famous Sette Sale or Seven Rooms, will be open to public for a whole afternoon.
We are of course talking about the amazing cistern which used to hold over 9 million cubic metres of water; a prodigious amount of water which was discharged for the pleasure of the Romans.
