As you can easily infer from its name, the Nun hotel in Assisi was a 13th century convent which was converted into a poshy spa hotel a few years ago.
There’s something magic about the place.
All cells have been turned into beautiful bedrooms and the main cloister arranged for dining.

The spa area with its archways and water cisterns is simply amazing (the roman ruins will take your breath away).
