New Moon, the much awaited presequel to Twilight, as you know, will partly be shot in the small town of Montepulciano in Tuscany (two chapters of the novel are set in the nearby town of Volterra).
Actually the movie directed by Chris Weitz and starring Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, Daniel Cudmore and Charley Bewly, caused quite a stir here in Italy when the production picked Montepulciano over Volterra for logistic reasons.
Well, this is what a Summit Entertainment rep said at least.
