We all know that Cortina d’Ampezzo is one of those places where celebrities and international socialites love to meet, chat and spend their winter holidays, but on Christmas day something far more important happened: a new chairlift 420 metres long was inaugurated! The new series of chairs will in fact connect the famous Cinque torri or Five Towers to Col Gallina and Col Falzarego, thus making it much easier for tourists and skiers to tour the 6 passes and reach the highest peaks.

Yes on Christmas day for the first time, thanks to this new series of chairs, skiers were conveyed up to the majestic Croda Negra and from there they reached the piste in Col Gallina and Pass Falzarego.
So the big news is that from now onwards skiers in Eastern Dolomites will be able to use a lot of new services and facilities, from ski buses to chairlifts and amazing new piste! Alta Badia, Pusteria and Valgardena are now all within reach! Not bad, is it?
