Spring has arrived at last and lots of us, after a long and rather tedious winter, just want to go out and enjoy the heart-stopping beauty of mother nature.
Shed the heavy woollen clothes and cumbersome overcoats, we can now travel light and experience something which will restore vitality to us.

So to celebrate the arrival of Spring, the beautiful town of Terni in Umbria has organised a day-trip to the olive groves surrounding the town (24-25 April 2010).

Once there people will have the opportunity to enjoy long walks (on horseback, if they wish) through the woods, gather herbs, visit old stone houses, listen to music and then have a delicious picnic on the grass; a feast of exquisite local products including the famous extra virgin oil produced in the area around Terni.
For those of you who love history, a guided tour of Terni will also be available.
