A couple of young Italians managed to crash a Ferrari F430 which they had only hired a few hours before, as a rather attention seeking way to go to a party.
Apparently the young guns weren’t hurt in the crash, although it seems either inexperience or fast driving (in a Ferrari? Never!) caused them to take a corner too fast and run into a light pole.
The upside? A fright and 60,000 euros worth of damages, only covered in part by the 20,000 euros left as a bond on the vehicle.
The actual Ferrari hire cost is a mere 1,500 euros and the rest is a rather dramatic way to piss away the deposit for your first home.
