Last summer we talked at length about an artwork called One Balloon By Pawel Althamer which was on display at Milan’s arena.
A big naked man floating in the air that caused quite a stir! The exhibition, as many of you know, was sponsored by the Trussardi Foundation.
Ansa still regards it as one of the most controversial artworks ever displayed in Italy.

Another work that is kicking up dust is “Fred the Frog” by Martin Kippenberg, a crucified frog holding in its hand a mug of beer.

The sculpture is on show at the Museion in Bolzano, despite strong objections from the Bishop and other local politicians.
