This is a rather unique use for an old 1980’s Maserati.
In what’s set to be the most bizarre Maserati tuning of all time, two crazy Italians have turned the twin turbo into a sea vessel and were intending on sailing from Viareggio to Venice with the vehicle.
Unfortunately for Marco and Marcolino, the authorities have banned them from attempting their foolhardy enterprise, and for the moment the pair will have to postpone.

The 1200 miles from Viareggio to Venice are little in comparison to a previous venture.
Marco and Marcolino had previously attempted a similar exercise in 1999 by crossing the Atlantic Ocean from the Canaries with two modified automobiles equipped with outboard motors.
Below are the pics and after the jump, an old video of the original Maserati Biturbo.
