Just a little something to get us started on a Monday morning are these photos of the Milanese skyline, taken from the 15th floor of the Terrazza Martini near the Duomo.
Like many European cities there isn’t a high-rise city centre and is such that you can see the distant mountains.

I remember driving out of Milan once, towards Lake Como and the Valtellina and was struck by the immediacy of the mountains past the city.
