Former lead singer of Bluvertigo and now X-Factor judge, Italy’s rock/popstar Morgan, has been at the centre of some 2010 Sanremo controversy.
In gossip from Italy, the musician admitted to using cocaine in an interview with a magazine, and subsequently got himself kicked out of Sanremo 2010.
The magazine editor denied the claims and after intervention from Italy’s veteran showgirl and successful television host, Simona Ventura, Morgan has been reinstated to his place in the Sanremo festival.
It seems that the man himself is unaware of this and was awaiting news from Rai, Italy’s state based media network that broadcasts the festival; although he has also claimed that he no longer wants to attend the biggest Italian music event of the year.
Bluvertigo was a band from 1992 to 2009, although no official band break-up has been announced.
They are famous for appearing as front runners at concerts for Oasis, Tears for Fears and David Bowie.
