Photos of Italian dictator Mussolini on display at Lucien Aigner exhibition

Born in Hungary in 1901, photographer Lucien Aigner left Europe for America in the early 1940s but his name as an important photojournalist was established in 1935 when he took a photo of Mussolini while sneezing at the Stresa Conference.

That photo, which was published on the cover of Newsweek in 1940, brought him instantaneous fame.

Now this famous picture – along with many other Aigner’s important works – is on display at the DeCordova Sculpture Park in New England.
So if you are a history buff – and love photography as well – you can’t afford to miss it! Photo Credits Lucien Aigner Estate.
