Located at the foot of the Palatine Hill and on the eastern verge of the Roman Forum, the house of the vestal Virgins in Rome has been restored to its pristine beauty at last; after a twenty-year long restoration, this sacred area dedicated to Vesta, the virgin goddess of the hearth, home, and family in Roman religion ,looks as it used to look in ancient times; the restorers have also succeeded in bringing back the original vegetation which surrounded the house and its beautiful statues.
