The success of the Italian version will probably depend on how the single is received in Spanish, although it may come across as an obvious attempt to flatter the Italian public.
Furtado sings ‘Mas’ quite well in Italian, although a keen ear will pick up some of the pronunciation inaccuracies.
It seems out of character for Furtado and is certainly not what we’d expect from someone of her talent.
