Italy's most beautiful parks

We don’t know yet which Italian park will win the contest Il Parco più bello d’ Italia or Italy’s most beautiful park; there are so many contenders that is almost impossible to tell which one will prevail and win; the favourites include the amazing Venaria Reale near Turin, Racconigi Castle ( always in Piedmont) which I had the pleasure to visit only a few months ago, the famous Miramare castle in Trieste and the Vittoriale, the rather bizarre villa on Lake Garda where Italian writer Gabriele D’Annunzio lived and died.

So if you are curious to know which one will sit atop the list, stay tuned!
