Snow in Milan doesn't stop motorcyclists

I enjoyed the snow in Italy on the weekend, but I went skiing, not travelling to Milan on a motorcycle in the snow.
This video was taken just after 7am today on the outskirts of Milan and shows a motorcyclist on his way to work (presumably) in bad road conditions and snow and ice.

I can only imagine how cold it must have been to ride through the snow like this, though he seems unperturbed.

Surely there was a train he could have gotten? If you wanted confirmation that Italians are crazy drivers, or riders in this case, then this is for you.
