Rome is on its way to becoming Europe’s best city according to the Tripadvisor website and its users.
While highlighting the fact that Rome is Europe’s second dirtiest city (after Athens) and that plenty of tourist traps exist for travellers, Tripadvisor reveals that for beautiful architecture, free attractions and citizen charm, Italy’s capital is second to none.
Welcoming and friendly city inhabitants (except those wanting to rip-off tourists) abound, and the final criteria in Rome’s favour is that of the beautiful Italian fashion worn by its residents.
We have some doubts about Rome’s supremacy above other European cities, (though we do love it), but it appears that it has a positive image on one of the world’s most important travel sites.
