Livigno, Italy’s tax–free ski resort in northern Lombardy, is opening its cross country ski track.
With snow falls and low temperatures, the three kilometre freestyle track is already available for warm-up sessions and training before the real ski season starts.
Livigno’s ski season traditionally starts every year with the famous “Sgambeda” cross–country ski festival, now in its 20th edition, and this year the slopes should open on December 11.
For children there is the “Minisgambeda” event.
