English Science Museum unearths Italian painting featuring “oldest watch”

When the painting you see in the photo was bought more than 33 years ago, nobody paid much attention to the identity of this elegant gentleman holding a golden time piece in his hand, but now , after finding a seal containing the Medici coat of arms, experts at the Museum of Science in London believe that the man in the painting could be Cosimo I Medici, Grand Duke of Tuscany.
