Rome is a continuous surprise and this time I’m not talking about monuments but public parks! Bordering with Villa Pamphili, the Valle dei Casali is an amazing 450 hectare park where people can enjoy nature at a leisurely pace; hectares and hectares of rolling green meadows, lovely hillocks and beautiful trees.

The area is dotted with picturesque old farms and luxury old villas such as the famous Villa York.
The valle dei Casali also features an elegant café called La Casa del Parco where people can relax while sipping a cup of coffee or a glass of iced lemonade! The second Sunday of every month the park turns into a lively market.
