Times are changing fast and the old traditions are inevitably falling into disuse.
Apparently nowadays no one wants to be left behind or deemed old-fashioned any longer.
So we are not a bit surprised if even the demure Ginevra Elkann, Lapo ’s younger sister, shocked her illustrious family with the news of her unexpected pregnancy; the girl betrothed to Giovanni Gaetani Dell’Aquila D’Aragona is planning to tie the knot only next April or May.

According to our sources, the wedding will take place in Marrakesh where her grandmother Princess Marella Caracciolo, Giovanni Agnelli’s widow, owns a villa.
If I can be frank I’m a bit worried about the baby; when it comes to choosing first names, the Agnelli family can get pretty adventurous, the last born in the family, if I remember correctly, was called Oceano or Ocean; I’m afraid the poor boy will soon be the butt of many jokes! The following picture shows Giovanni Agnelli and her daughter Margherita (on her wedding day)Ginevra as a child:Via Dagospia
