The Ferrari was first owned in 1957 by Piero Drogo from Modena, a professional racer.
The debut occurred at the Buenos Airos 100km in Argentina in 1958, coming fourth behind Phil Hill, Wolfgang von Trips and Olivier Gendebien.

The car was sold by Luigi Chinetti to Alan Connell, a texan entrepreneur who achieved victories in North America in 1959.
Passing among other lucky owners, the car raced until 1963 at the Elkhart Lake 500.
This auction provides the chance to purchase not only a beautiful vintage racing car, but also a small piece of Ferrari and automobile history.
At last year’s auction a 250 California set a record of seven million euros at the auction.
