Bruce Springsteen was arrested late last year in a New Jersey national park for DWI. Tmz, citing a source close to law enforcement, reported that ‘The Boss’ would be stopped at the Gateway National Recreation Area of Sandy Hook and found under the influence, as well as being charged with alcohol consumption in the closed area and reckless driving.
The news emerged a few days after the rocker appeared in an automobile commercial during the Super Bowl.
Springsteen, 71, was arrested on November 14, 2020, in the Jersey Gateway National Recreation Area, locally known as Sandy Hook. The singer of “Thunder Road” has been cited for driving while drunk, reckless driving, and consuming alcohol in a closed area.
No further details on the incident have yet been released, but the rock legend has been called ‘cooperative throughout the process’, according to NPS spokesman Brenda Ling.
