Salt Bae or the viral chef will open his first restaurant in the UK, with a new site for his Nusr-Et Steakhouse chain coming to London ‘soon’. His real name is Nusret Gökçe. He becomes famous after video seasoning a gigantic ‘Ottoman Steak’ by sprinkling salt down his forearm.
The new restaurant will launch on May 17 at the Park Tower in Knightsbridge.
It will make Gökçe’s 13th restaurant in Turkey, the United States, and Dubai.
However, you still can not book just yet but the chain’s site confirms the London site is “opening soon”. If you tried to phone them with the number listed on Google, a recorded message says staff are sorry to be unable to host customers just yet and their final preparations are on their way.
In a listing on Caterer.com, the restaurant is currently recruiting for staff, with job ads online for roles including a restaurant general manager, a sommelier, hosts and waiters.
The company also offers a competitive salary and ‘growth opportunities, along with perks including ‘international travel‘.

Another responded, “Nobody said they couldn’t afford it. Doesn’t make it any less ridiculous.”One person also mentioned the $80 ‘spaghetti’ (which is actually ‘thinly sliced striploin’) stating, “I better be able to speak Italian afterwards.”
