Ms Goulding announced her pregnancy during an interview with British Vogue in February. The pregnancy was a complete surprise, she told. The singer found out she was expecting on their first wedding anniversary.

The thought of getting pregnant didn’t seem like it could be a reality. Becoming pregnant kind of made me feel human. I want a better word than womanly, (but) I have curves I’ve never had before. I’m enjoying it. My husband’s enjoying it.”

Ms Goulding and Mr Jopling met in 2016 during a party organized by their mutual friend Princess Eugenie. Three years later, on 31 August 2019, the couple got married at York Minster.

The bride wore an amazing dress designed by Natacha Ramsay-Levi for Chloé. The bespoke long-sleeve gown featured a ruffled lace collar and silk tulle veil. Jopling, instead, chose a suit from Savile Row tailors Huntsman.
