A tragic incident occurred on the A950 near Mintlaw, Aberdeenshire, where a three-car collision resulted in life-threatening injuries for a 40-year-old man. The accident took place shortly after 6:25 PM on Saturday evening, just over a mile from Mintlaw, on the route to Longside.
Emergency services responded promptly, transporting the injured man to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary for urgent medical care.

The collision involved three vehicles: a Ford Escort, driven by the injured man, a Nissan Pixo, and a Ford Fiesta.
The female driver of the Pixo and two female passengers from the Fiesta were also taken to the hospital, although their injuries were reported as non-life-threatening.
