A lot of Britons stand in front of doorstep, balcony or through windows from home to applaud all of our tremendous NHS workers, from the catering staff to GPs for a minute.

They are not only thanked for NHS staff but also posties, milkmen and women, delivery drivers, supermarket staff and zero-hour carers, you have all played your part in keeping Britain united during the Coronavirus pandemic.
Many Britons shared their video applauding, whilst some painted their bodies blue, wore blue accessories and turned their social media backgrounds blue.
The official NHS Twitter account tweeted: “That was emotional.” Futhermore, The Royal Family also involved to do Clap for our Carers. You can see from Kensington Palace’s instagram that Charlotte, George and Louis all applauding. On twitter Kensington Royal said “To all the doctors, nurses, carers, GPs, pharmacists, volunteers and other NHS staff working tirelessly to help those affected by #COVID19: thank you.”
In the message posted on the royal family’s official Instagram account, the Queen said that they are enormously thankful for the expertise and commitment of scientists, medical practitioners and emergency and public services. Also, the Earl and Countess of Wessex and their children Lady Louise Windsor and Viscount Severn, who all clapped after Edward paid tribute to workers.
He said: “So from all of us just a huge thank you to so many of you working on the frontline – you’re really appreciated keep up the fantastic work.” In Northern Ireland, there was pastor who is recovering in hospital after spending a week in intensive care with Coronavirus joined the clapping. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Boris Johnson tweeted: “On behalf of the whole country, I want to thank all the incredible nurses, doctors, NHS support staff & carers who are working flat out to fight Coronavirus .
“#ClapForOurCarers #ClapForNHS To help them, and protect the NHS, we need everyone to stay at home #StayHomeSaveLives”.
