The Duke of Sussex turns 36 today and members of the royal family have sent out messages to commemorate the occasion. Prince William and Kate Middleton also sent out a similar message despite rumours that there was a rift between the two brothers and their brides following the break-up of the “Fab Four” comprising of the Cambridges and the Sussexes. Relations between the Sussexes and the rest of the royal family had repeatedly been rumoured to have deteriorated and finally in March came the announcement that Harry and Meghan would leave the royal family.

The couple have not wasted any time in their new life, signing a deal with Netflix which experts believe could pocket them up to £189 million! They moved into a £15 million mansion in California last month having lived in the state since March.

Harry and Meghan’s “creative home” Netflix are set to release the new series of hit show The Crown. This season shows Princess Diana’s problems with an eating disorder in the 80s, a theme which is likely to further strain relations between Harry and the other royals given his relationship with the streaming giant. Netflix have also announced plans to create Diana: A New Musical. Both shows are likely to compromise Harry’s position given the fact that he has relied on championing grief and mental health charities and he now seeks to personally profit from the cheapening of his mother’s name.
