India records the world’s highest daily Covid-19 infection

India managed more than 230 million jabs of a Covid vaccine but fewer than four per cent of its 1.4 billion people have been completely vaccinated.

After a local state in India rechecks the number of people who died to the Covid-19 infection at home or private hospitals, the figure made the country become the world’s highest daily Covid-19.

The Nitish Kumar government stated that the health department of Bihar, East India, updated its total virus-related death toll on Wednesday to more than 9,400.

Until now, its record is the highest exceeding the United States. The US recorded 5,444 deaths on February 12.

With those figures, the total case in India at 29.2 million with 359,676 cases of fatalities, based on the health ministry’s data. However, some areas in India has started easing the restriction, including Delhi and Mumbai.

Mumbai started to resume but Telangana, Kerala Tail Nadu, and Rajasthan still in lockdown until the middle or end of this week.
