Britney Spears, famous American pop-star, has always had the support of her fans since the first hospitalization in 2008. Indeed, her experience with the conservatorship has founded the movement #FreeBritney. Fans new all along that something wasn’t making happy the singer, but she always claimed she was fine.
Few days ago, on Wednesday 23rd, Britney admitted to the courtroom her situation.
There she exploited all the frustration she had developed towards the conservatorship trough the years. Today, Britney is apologizing to her fans for non having shared the conservatorship trauma earlier, explaining:
I pretended like everything was ok, because I was embarrassed to share what happened to me.
She clarified the situation with an Instagram post writing:
I just want to tell you guys a little secret … as people we all want the fairy tale life and by the way I’ve posted … my life seems to look and be pretty amazing … I think that’s what we all strive for !!!! That was one of my mother’s best traits … no matter how s**** a day was when I was younger … for the sake of me and my siblings she always pretended like everything was ok. I’m bringing this to peoples attention because I don’t want people to think my life is perfect because IT’S DEFINITELY NOT AT ALL … and if you have read anything about me in the news this week … you obviously really know now it’s not !!!!
In addition, she also said that pretending on socials that everything was okay actually helped her dealing the situation. In this way she was “convincing” herself too that everything was sort of fine.
Now the singer has asked the court to end the conservatorship immediately without any further medical assessment.
