The Home Office stated airlines were still legally obligated to manage a series of Covid checks.

A report mentioned that travellers landing in England from green and amber lists countries will no longer suffer Covid check. A memo confirmed electronic border gates will no longer assign passengers to in-person checks by Border Force officers if a traveller locator form is not found.

She also revealed that the airport has added some members to help travellers with their visits and the operation has now back to normal. “We apologise to our passengers for any inconvenience caused,” added a spokeswoman.
