UK Prime Minister, Boris Johnson, asked the insurance industry should protect people from selling their homes to pay the cost of care. At the same time, he encountered a backlash over his £12 billion-a-year reforms.

The Prime Minister was urged by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in the Commons over how his program could match the Tory election pledge.

Then Mr Johnson mentioned that he plans to cap care expenses in England at £86,000, paid for by a new tax.
