The latest research exposed that the Covid infection rate currently in Britain is the highest in western Europe. Sadly, it is only surpassed by a few countries around the world. Based on Johns Hopkins University in the US said on Thursday that the UK’s average daily reported cases reached 52 per 100,000 population.
The figure placed Britain at ranked 12 out of more than 200 states in a global list of Covid infection rates.
It is well over the US, Canada, India, and Brazil. The number released on Thursday an amount of 191,771 people tested positive for Covid in England in the week to 22 September. It means there is an increase of 18 per cent on the week previously.
According to government data released on Wednesday, the UK listed new infection is more than 36,700 and death reached more than 150 in the latest 24-hour period.
The UK government used vaccine passports earlier in September. Then they decided not to continue it. However, health secretary Sajid Javid has declared they might be reviewed if cases arise.

They were Serbia, Grenada, Antigua and Barbuda, Bermuda, Montenegro, Mongolia, Cuba, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Suriname, Lithuania, and Barbados.
