Ministers refuse Covid Plan B proposal

The NHS Confederation requested the Government to begin Covid restrictions to dodge “tripping into a crisis”.

Amid growing worries of a winter health crisis, scientists and NHS chiefs invited ministers to discuss Covid Plan B restrictions. Kwasi Kwarteng, a Business Secretary, strictly rules out new lockdowns. He described its restrictions in England as unhelpful.
