British Prime Minister Boris Johnson does not want to introduce compulsory vaccination but maintains a completely voluntary approach, unlike Italy and other countries.

Britain, on the other hand, has decided not to use this method. “We want to keep a voluntary approach, I believe in things achieved through collaboration.

“The health service is doing an outstanding job in difficult circumstances. As a government, the most important thing we can do is to continue to support hospitals and staff. We need to give doctors and nurses what they need to fight Covid,” said Boris Johnson, emphasising the importance of a government supporting health workers at this time.
On compulsory vaccination, he preferred to continue with a voluntary approach.
“We also need to make sure that people understand how much pressure is caused by the Omicron variant. Vaccination is vital, a large number of hospital patients have not been vaccinated at all.
