The over-the-top streaming service DAZN will become a global platform on December 1st, reaching over 200 countries and territories. Launched on August 2016, DAZN is a key player for boxing in the US, while Europeans stream it for football.
On December 5 the platform will stream the Ryan Garcia vs Luke Campbell event, while on December 12 it will be the turn of Anthony Joshua vs Kubrat Pulev.
However, these two fights won’t be available in every country. Poland will miss the former, while DAZN UK & Ireland subscribers won’t be able to watch the latter.
Both matches will start at 7 pm ET and midnight GMT, in order to satisfy the new expanded audience.
US fans will be able to watch also the Errol Spence vs Danny Garcia fight on December 5. Moreover, on the same day, they will assist to Tyson Fury’s return to UK.
DAZN Executive Vice President Joseph Markowski said that he’s “looking forward to introducing the DAZN platform around the world this December with an exciting schedule of fights”. The reason why the sports streaming service is expanding it that “from the UK to Mexico to Australia, we’ve seen an encouraging level of interest in our key events”. The complany has set a starting price of £1,99 for the new markets.
