Hope Hicks: Trump’s senior aide who tested positive for Covid before the US President and First Lady Melania Trump. Let’s take a look at who Hope is and what she does for the president and for the White House.
Ms Hicks, 31, former model for Ralph Lauren, was an actress and graduated in English Literature from Southern Methodist University. Now she serves as senior counsellor to the US president.
She first started working for Trump in 2014 and stayed by his side throughout his campaign and into the Presidency. She returned to the White House in February this year, two years after resigning as communications director.
Ms Hicks has travelled with the president multiple times this week, flying aboard Air Force One to Tuesday, Septembre 29 night’s first presidential debate against Joe Biden. When she tested positive for Covid, on Thursday, October 2, Mr Trump said on his Twitter account:

Multiple White House staffers have tested positive for the virus.
